1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

This is a legal agreement between you and Tate Studio, a furniture and interior design company based in Kerala, India. These terms govern your use of our website and purchase of our products.

By using our website, you agree to:

2. WHO CAN USE OUR WEBSITE

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law. If you are under 18, you may only use our website with parental supervision and consent.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

 

 

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

Creating an Account:

  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Restrictions:

  • One account per person

  • Do not use another person's account

  • Do not create offensive usernames

4. PRODUCTS AND PRICING

Product Information:

  • We strive for accuracy in all product descriptions and images

  • Colors may vary based on your screen settings

  • Our handcrafted furniture may have minor natural variations in dimensions, color, and finish

  • These variations are not considered defects

Pricing:

  • All prices in Indian Rupees (INR)

  • Prices exclude taxes (GST calculated at checkout)

  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and change prices without notice

  • If a pricing error occurs after your order, we will notify you and offer to honor the correct price or cancel your order with a full refund

 

 

5. ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

Order Process:

  • Order confirmation email does not mean we have accepted your order

  • We reserve the right to accept or decline any order

  • Your order is accepted when we send shipping confirmation

  • Full payment required before dispatch

Payment Methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Digital Wallets

  • Cash on Delivery is NOT available

  • All payments processed through secure third-party gateways

Order Changes and Cancellations:

  • Changes possible within 24 hours of order (at our discretion)

  • Refunds available only within 24 hours of order placement

  • Made-to-order and custom items cannot be cancelled once production begins

 

 

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery Timeframes:

  • Ready-to-ship items: 7-14 business days

  • Made-to-order items: 30-45 days

  • We ship within India and internationally

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate delivery address and contact information

  • Measure your space (doorways, hallways, elevators) before ordering

  • Be available to receive delivery or arrange someone to sign

  • Inspect items immediately upon delivery and report damage to the delivery agent

Delivery Terms:

  • Ground floor: Delivery to doorstep

  • Multi-level buildings: Delivery to lobby/secure area

  • You are responsible for moving items to your unit

  • We are not responsible if furniture doesn't fit through your doorways

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Summary:

  • Refunds: Only within 24 hours of order placement

  • Returns: Only for manufacturing defects or transit damage, within 14 days of delivery

  • Custom/made-to-order items: Cannot be returned or refunded

  • Sale items: Final sale, no returns

8. WARRANTY

We provide a 1-year limited warranty on most furniture items and a 10-year limited warranty on mattresses. Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

9. WHAT YOU CANNOT DO

You agree NOT to:

  • Use our website for any illegal purpose

  • Post harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

  • Infringe on intellectual property rights

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access our website

  • Attempt to hack or compromise our website security

  • Impersonate others or provide false information

  • Engage in fraudulent activities

Violation of these terms may result in account termination and legal action.

 

 

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Website Provided "AS IS":

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

  • We do not warrant that our website is free from viruses

  • Product availability and information may change without notice

Limitation of Liability:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product or INR 50,000, whichever is less

  • We are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.)
