Refund policy

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

1.1 Refund Window (24 Hours Only)

Full refunds are available ONLY within 24 hours of placing your order.

To request a refund:

  • Email info@tatestudio.in with your order number within 24 hours

  • Refunds processed within 7 business days

  • Refund credited to original payment method

  • Bank processing may take additional 5-10 business days

After 24 hours: Refunds are NOT available (except for defective items - see below)

 


 

1.2 Returns and Replacements (14 Days)

Returns accepted ONLY for:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Damage during transit

  • Incorrect item received

Returns NOT accepted for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse

  • Color or style preferences

  • Minor natural variations in handcrafted items

  • Items damaged after delivery

Return Window: Within 14 days of delivery

 


 

1.3 How to Request a Return

Step 1: Email info@tatestudio.in within 14 days
Subject: Return Request - [Order Number]

Include:

  • Order number and delivery date

  • Reason for return

  • Clear photos/videos showing the issue

  • Close-up images of defects or damage

Step 2: Wait for approval (24-48 hours)

Step 3: Return pickup arranged (if approved)

  • Pickup from your original delivery address

  • Typically within 7 business days

  • Product must be in condition received

Step 4: Refund or replacement processed

  • Replacement: New item shipped within 40 days

  • Refund: Processed within 7 business days after return receipt

 


 

1.4 Items That CANNOT Be Returned

✗ Custom and Made-to-Order Products

  • All furniture made to customer specifications

  • Custom upholstery or fabric selections

  • Bespoke and personalized items

  • Special design consultation orders

✗ Sale and Promotional Items

  • Items purchased during sales

  • Clearance merchandise

  • Products marked "Final Sale"

✗ Specific Categories (unless defective)

  • Opened mattresses

  • Bedding and soft furnishings (hygiene reasons)

  • Customer-assembled furniture (once assembled)

 


 

1.5 Damaged or Defective Items

At Time of Delivery:

  • Inspect your delivery immediately

  • Report visible damage to the delivery agent

  • Email info@tatestudio.in within 24 hours with photos

Hidden Damage:

  • Report within 14 days of delivery

  • Photos/videos required as evidence

  • Subject to evaluation and approval

Resolution:

  • Replacement at no cost (within 40 days), OR

  • On-site repair (if feasible), OR

  • Full refund (if repair/replacement not possible)

 


 

1.6 Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item:

  • Contact info@tatestudio.in immediately

  • Provide order number and photos

  • We arrange immediate pickup and delivery of correct item

  • No cost to you for return shipping

 


 

1.7 Refund Details

Refund Method:

  • Refunds issued to original payment method only

  • No cash refunds for card payments

Refund Amount:

  • Full refund includes product price and shipping charges (if paid)

  • For discounted orders: Refund excludes discount amount

  • Vouchers/gift cards are non-refundable

  • International orders: Import duties and international shipping non-refundable

Refund Timeline:

  • Domestic: 7-10 business days after return receipt

  • International: 10-15 business days after return receipt

  • Plus bank processing time (5-10 additional business days)

 


 

1.8 Order Modifications and Cancellations

Within 24 Hours of Order:

  • Changes allowed at our discretion

  • Email info@tatestudio.in with order number

  • Changes may incur fees and extend delivery time

After 24 Hours:

  • Ready-to-ship items: May be subject to restocking fees

  • Made-to-order items: NO cancellations or changes

  • Custom items: NO cancellations under any circumstances

Possible Changes:

  • Delivery address (before dispatch only)

  • Product color/finish (before production starts)

  • Quantity adjustments
